Submit a NECHA Grant Application Today!

Congratulations to Connecticut College - winner of the 2009 NECHA Grant Award! The Grant, which focuses on women's health issues, will be awarded at the upcoming Combined Meeting in Burlington.

The NECHA Grant Committee is currently accepting grant proposals for the 2008-2009 academic year. This grant was created and designed to assist schools who seek to improve the quality and delivery of student health services as well as promote innovative health programming within New England's college health community. Grant projects are funded at levels up to $1000. The total number and size of awards will be based on merit, need, and the number of proposals received. Projects that involve student participation and a multi-disciplined/multi-departmental approach to shared concerns are especially encouraged.

Proposals for 2008-2009 should include description of the program and goals, use of funds, and relevance to college health. Please complete the 2009 NECHA Grant Application by the the deadline of June 1, 2010.

The recipient of the 2007-2008 NECHA grant was St. Joseph College from West Hartford, Connecticut, submitted by Nancy Kowalski, RN, MA, RMT. She will be highlighting the results of her grant at the 2009 Combined Annual Meeting.
